I’ve really been wanting to feature a fresh and clean looking kids space, that was still very kid focused. So I turned to one of the guru’s of the kids fashion industry, Hayley from Little Pinwheel, and sure enough, found exactly what I was looking for.

The little people’s room in the Little Pinwheel family is a shared space for Keely and Taj. I love the idea of the trundler bed which allows them to share the space safely, while giving them room to play when the bed is not in use.

The white walls keep the space looking clean, fresh and open, while the splashes of colour make the room kid focused and friendly. The Boodalee bedding from little kidz closet is bright and vibrant, and the way the duvet covers match while still being definitely boy and girl focused is awesome.

And of course, the reading corner is just a perfect idea with the bilibos for the kids to sit in and chill, with the vintage cranes from Pulp Life floating peacefully above their heads.
