A Little Bit of Lolly
Room of Holly, daughter of Keri Strong of Holly Chic
Words by Keri Strong

After having two boys I always dreamed of having a little girl. The room was already planned, white walls and furniture, pale pink bedding, accents of pale green and lots of little girlie things that I craved over while bringing up my older boys.
How things change! In the end I decided to go totally different and have given her a room which is a vibrant mix of oranges, red, lime green and just a touch of pink thrown in. It suits her personality down to a tee, time enough for her to have a pink girlie room when she goes into a big bed.
Her sheets are from the
Holly Chic Lolly range, and matched with a sunburst orange cot quilt. The vibrant theme is carried through on her notice board and handmade pictures sit comfortably with Gollywog on her dressing table. To soften the look I have added a canopy from
Ikea.
