day 44: free range christmasTraditional Christmas Lunch with a twist11 November 2011Annabel Langbein is amazing. Her recipes never cease to amaze. A really good gift idea for anyone who loves cooking is her new book, Free Range in the City. We’ve selected a traditional menu for Christmas lunch from her online recipe collection, including a fabulous turkey (barbequed of course!) and a truly awesome pavlova. Nothing says Christmas like pavlova in this house! I can’t wait to make her Feijoa Chutney too. Our feijoa tree drops more fruit than we could ever eat our way through, so this year I’m going to make a stack load of this chutney and give it away to friends – a way to keep those feijoa flavours hitting the taste buds well past the last fruit falling!
