Our thoughts
Portable cots can be fantastic for both visiting and traveling. Before purchasing a portable cot, you should probably think about how often you will use it, and whether or not an alternative (such as a product that allows your baby to sleep safely in a single bed) will be better for you.
Things you might need to consider are:
- Where will you be taking the portable cot? Will you be camping with it?
- Does it pack down to a size that can easily travel alongside all of your other travel gears?
- Are you able to lift the weight and carry it around easily?
- Is it easy to put up? Will it take a long time to put up?

We recommend you read the information from Consumer NZ (links below) before making the decision as to which portable cot you will purchase.
