Nothing beats a kiwi summer – picnics, barbeques, the beach, swimming pools, parks, and a lot of playtime in the backyard.

The intensity of the sun just seems to keep increasing on us, and even on overcast days like today, it’s possible to get burnt, which is something none of us want for our little ones.

Made4Baby have been working on a sunscreen for some time, but in the meantime have sought out an Australian made one that meets the strictest sunscreen testing regulations in the world – from UV Naturals. The lovely Rebecca from Made4Baby sent us a sample to test out, and it has fast become the number 1 priority for inclusion in our nappy bag.

With an SPF of 30+, 2 hours of water resistant protection, the UV Natural Baby sunscreen is formulated to protect sensitive skin from the sun with confidence. I’ve been using the product on myself as well as both of my little ones, and we’re loving it. The biggest bonus for me (from a purely selfish point of view) is that I react to most commercially available sunscreens on the market, and have had absolutely no reaction to the UV Natural Baby product, which means I can now just purchase the one sunscreen that’s suitable for the whole family.

UV Natural Baby is not tested on animals, is suitable for vegans and is endorsed by Choose Cruelty Free Australia, is easily absorbed into the skin, and has no smell. It also has a 3 year shelf life, so you shouldn’t end up wasting a drop!
