The Sleep StoreSleep, glorious sleep…30 October 2009Sleep deprivation is the bain of many a parents life, and with a newborn in the house, I am currently being reminded of those early days, where how to get enough sleep becomes the main focus of every day. Which currently means almost daily visits to The Sleep Store website. So much more than just a store, their online articles are full of useful advice, tips and solutions for newborns, infants and toddlers. What we’ve also found is that Louise, Matt and their team have the most amazing customer service and are more than willing to point you in the right direction for you and your baby – they even offer personalized colic advice by email and sleep workshops! I know from experience with my first, even when I had found what initially worked for her, I was continuously going back to The Sleep Store website for quick reminders, and more advice as she grew and developed. If you’re interested in what we’re finding is working for us and our four week old right now, we’ve found The Happiest Baby settling techniques (DVD), the Miracle Blanket, and white noise are definitely his ‘cup of tea’. And while her needs have changed over time, our toddler has consistently slept twelve hours through the night, as well as having good day naps since she was four months old thanks to the advice from The Sleep Store. Aucklanders visiting the Parent & Child Show this weekend will find the team from The Sleep Store there with some frankly amazing specials. For everyone else, check out The Sleep Store website for everything sleep related for the little ones. Our Australian followers can check out The Sleep Store Australia website – also chock full of useful sleep information and fabulous sleep related products in Australian dollars. |
