I hate to admit it, but good New Zealand made furniture for children is hard to find in New Zealand! Thankfully, Genesis Furniture make absolutely gorgeous children’s furniture, here in New Zealand, that’s not only stylish, but high quality to boot.

We had the pleasure of viewing the range at last years Auckland Parent & Child Show, as unfortunately most of the time, the only way to view is at their Auckland factory showroom… we loved the styles available and were really impressed at how well made they were.

They have four ranges available – the Buckingham and Oxford for the traditional wood look, the Lullaby with a cute silver star theme, and the Tasman – our personal pick – a contemporary, modern, stylish design that will suit all the way through to their teenage years.

Beds and drawers are available from $449, wardrobe storage units ($799), and they have some great accessories, such as underbed storage units on wheels ($89) and changetops to fit on top of their drawers ($69) – an idea alternative to purchasing an expensive change table. Pieces available according to the range, so make sure you have a good look around their website.

Shipping varies according to where you live, and they use a furniture removal company to ensure items are received in one piece. Shipping can be confirmed with a simple enquiry via their website (we checked out what our shipping costs would be and were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they were!)
