Teriyaki Salmon
This quick and easy recipe for kids Teriyaki Salmon is amazing. I’ve made it twice in the past two weeks and that’s saying something.
It’s quick and simple to make, delicious and fresh and the kids absolutely loved it, especially when served with Udon Noodles as I did tonight.
Easy Kids Recipe: Teriyaki Salmon
Ingredients:
In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, crushed garlic, grated ginger and sesame oil to make a marinade. Add the salmon strips into the bowl and stir well to combine. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Cook the rice (if using). Boil the edamame or peas in salted water until tender. Drain, and refresh in cold water. Heat a large fry pan on medium high heat and heat the oil. Add the salmon and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring gently.
Chop the spring onions and add to the pan, along with the sesame seeds. Cook for a further minute. Add the cooked edamame and udon noodles if using directly into the pan. Stir gently to heat through. Stir in the coriander and serve immediately.
Enjoy, we sure did, and will do again, and again!
