Radicool Kids is run by Kiwi team down south, and they have made a huge impact on the kids' clothing market in New Zealand really quickly.
The husband and wife team were inspired when they had their son - and wanted clothes that they just couldn't find on the market. Enough of the boring boys' clothes, they said! So off they went, created something new, and fresh - and now you'll see their clothes everywhere. It's an awesome story of kiwi entrepreneurship, and we think it's worth celebrating.
With their flagship store in Albion Place, Dunedin - which is definitely worth checking out - you can also see some of their Radicool Dude (boys) range and Kissed by Radicool (girls) range on their
Instagram or on
Facebook. They're also always on the lookout for creative kiwis
to collaborate with - so if you've had a sweet idea about clothes that would look cool on your little one, but you don't have the know-how to make it happen, then this could be an amazing opportunity.
Tonnes of their clothes are mix and match, which means you get lots of bang for you buck. And that buck stays right here, supporting the NZ economy - because this is a
NZ company that looks after their staff. Yay!
Here are some of the current range which we think is rockin':
Radicool Dude
Spread a bit of patriotic love with the
Home Tee ($54.99).
Contrasting sleeves to body is a bit of a Radicool Dude trend, I've noted. Loving these sharks on this
Jaws Zip Hood ($59.99).
The
Mix it Up pant is pretty funky with black front, red back and one red cuff ($44.99).
Love the Spacepant ($54.99) - practical and contemporary.
Kissed by Radicool
The
Royals Crew ($59.99) and floral
Indie Pant ($44.99) are the perfect pair. And no pink in sight <3.
The
Meow Hood ($59.99) is great for winter layering... who wouldn't want those little ears on their hood?!
This
Spotted Dress ($69.99) would go with just about anything. Cute pink belt, too!
It feels good to support NZ products, and these are hard-wearing, well-washing staples that every child will feel good in, too. We look forward to seeing their ranges as they develop and grow - hopefully a store will open near you soon.
