Popit Wrap SlingPop in your poppet…27 January 2010The last few days I’ve been ‘road-testing’ the Popit Wrap… I know wraps can be a little intimidating at first, with all of that material, but trust me, once you’ve done it the first couple of times you’ll be an old pro. Just to be sure I was using it correctly, I followed the fabulous instructions on the Popit website – the DVD and basic instructions come with the wrap, but if you ever lose them, they’re right there on the web. The simple step by step instructions are easy to follow, and as a bonus, provided me with an alternative that I had never used before with a wrap sling – the hip carry, which my little boy has been enjoying immensely (nothing better than looking out at the world while safely attached to mum!). The wrap itself is nice and stretchy (though only stretches width wise, which is to ensure you babe stays in the sling nice and securely) and the light weight cotton has a nice feel to it. All of the Popit Wraps are reversible which is very cool as well – meaning you can play it safe with basic black, or let a bit of personality out with the colored side. I love slings. I have a number of them. How knows when you’ll want to wear a different one to match your mood, the occasion or the ever changing temperament of your baby? And while I wouldn’t personally give up my sling collection, as I like using all of the different ones at different times, the Popit Wrap is a great solution for people who just want the one sling, and to be able to tie it and use it different ways. The Popit Wrap is priced at $85 NZD and is available from the Popit website and a number of stockists nationwide. |
