Bubbles! Bubbles!
18 June 2010
Last week we featured the Boon bath toys, and good old "Bob" in the bubbles. With people then emailing us to ask whether or not we actually used a baby friendly bubble bath, we couldn't help but follow up with a feature on the
Made4Baby Bubbles! Bubbles! Fragrance Free bubble bath which is exactly what we do use.
I have to admit, when it comes to skin and skin conditions, our little bubba seems pretty hearty - no problems with eczema or allergies. In saying that, we haven't exposed him to anything that we haven't found safe for our toddler, who reacts to, well, almost everything! We have admittedly tried different bubble baths with her, but have only found the one that doesn't bring her out in an itchy red rash - and that's the Made4Baby bubble bath. We use the fragrance free option, and it's fantastic, it's probably one of our absolute favorite products of all time.
Why is that I hear you ask? Well, up until a few months ago, we had to bath our little girl in the kitchen sink. She was afraid of the bath. She went in there for a while around the 9 month mark, and then developed this phobia, and no matter what, we couldn't get her back in. The only place she wanted to, and would have a bath was the sink. So for a long time, the sink it was. However, with the arrival of a second child, and a toddler that was growing, we had to come up with a way to entice her into the dreaded big bath tub.
The solution? Made4Baby Bubbles! Bubbles! It was such a simple solution, and I have no idea why I didn't think of it earlier. We did use it in the sink a few times first, and then poured a great big bubble bath in the big tub. And in she went, no questions asked, no fuss or bother.
We do now have the issue that she won't get in without the bubbles, which is why we now buy it in bulk (four bottles at a time!) to make sure we don't run out!
You can purchase Made4Baby Bubbles! Bubbles! along with the rest of their fantastic range from the
Made4Baby website, or through any of their nationwide stockists. A bottle will cost you $17.95, but if you're like us and need more than one, they have a fabulous offer going at the moment of 2 bottles for $28.
