Cool handmade stuff to collect
by {KID} independent
1 December 2010
Hi folks! I'm super chuffed that Jodi invited me along today to share some of my favourite handmade goodies. With Christmas just around the corner, and lots of delightful, perfectly well behaved angels to shop for {ouch, my tongue hurt my cheek...}, you just can't beat handmade for originality and creativity! So without further ado, here are a few little treats that are at the top of my handmade Christmas list.

1. Cuddly Handmade Bear by Minu
This is my favourite teddy bear of 2010. He's made by Wellington {NZ} based artist Minu and is just gosh darn cute!
2. Handmade Children's Sandals by Zuzii
Perfect for summer in the sun, these cuties are made from hand dyed stretch cotton, with a leather insole and anti-skid rubber sole.
3. Cotton Candy Retro Ruffler by Rae Gun
I've been freely indulging my handmade summer playsuit obsession since the very first sign of spring... and it shows no sign of slowing down!
4. Colouring Book from Moonmum
One of my top picks for stocking stuffers this Chrismas, these colouring books are so artistic and modern that you'll be fighting over them with the kids… better buy an extra one for yourself.
5. DIY Russian Nesting Dolls by Goose Grease Undone
These would make an awesome holiday craft project. My set turned up in the post this week and is superbly packaged for gift giving.
6. Monkey Rag Doll Organic Onesie from Apericots
Apericots is one of my favourite places to shop for kids tees and onesies. They specialise in organics, and they currently have free worldwide shipping. With the Aussie dollar so strong, and prices starting at around $11, you can't beat this one for summer essentials.
