Totem from Dutch design company Kidsonroof are sets of over 120 building cards, all printed with secret codes, symbols and pictures, which can be used to create 3 dimensional airplanes, buildings, lizards, ships, or whatever your little one’s heart desires.

Made from recycled laminated micro-wave cardboard, the cards are not only eco-friendly, but are also multi-award winning, and made TIME’s Style & Design “Green Design 100”. The cards are sturdy, and each set comes with a manual with instructions on how to build 4 models.

Their thoughtful and unique design and emphasis on allowing children’s creativity to flow makes them stand out from the crowd.

Yopie currently have the City and Nature sets available for $59 NZD. For Totem on a smaller scale, you can also purchase Totem “Mini” sets for $39 NZD which have enough cards and the instructions for a single model.
