We interviewed Raegan Foldesby of A Little Bit of Cheek - a new Australian based online boutique that focuses on stocking top fashion brands for girls and boys. A Little Bit of Cheek services customers both throughout Australia and the world - including New Zealand!
What was the inspiration behind your online store?
I always wanted to be self employed. Before I had my daughter I was obsessed with real estate. I wanted to be a real estate tycoon. How things change! Once Violet was born two years ago my world was turned upside down (for the better). My focus in life has changed. I have a beautiful family and nothing in this world is worth more to me. I want to be able to spend as much quality time with my family as possible. It is time to enjoy what I do. So I joined my love for funky children’s clothes with the idea of being self employed. A little Bit of Cheek was born!
What philosophies are important to the way you will be doing business?
My main aim with starting A Little Bit of Cheek is to spend more quality time with my family and to work to live, not live to work. So in saying that, I will endeavor to keep the customers happy by providing quality products and friendly, reliable service.
What can a customer expect from shopping online with you?
I am passionate about what I do and what I sell. In short, I sell what I love! All the products are of high quality, if I wouldn’t let my daughter use it or wear it, then I am not going to let your kids either. I will continue to look for fabulous brands to add to my boutique. Last but not least, I will endeavor to provide quality customer service always.
What are the top brands that you are stocking?
JettRoc, Itch, Tommy Rocket, Two Belles, Baobab, Dittany Baby, Elodie Details and Rockabye Baby.
What are your favorite 5 products available from your store?
JettRoc ‘Punk Rocker’ dress $47.50 - I love the ‘rock chick’ style and this dress screams rocker! It’s a limited edition exclusive to A Little Bit of Cheek and they will not be available after I sell out.
Baobab – ‘Pink Tulle Dress’ $50.95 – This dress is stunningly gorgeous.
Rockabye Baby - Renditions of Coldplay - $33.95 – I love Coldplay and now I can listen to a lullaby version (I wish I knew about these cd’s 2 years ago).
JettRoc – ‘Spunk Singlet’ $34.95 – Like I said I love the ‘rocker style’ and this singlet comes in size 4 – 14 and I just know the teens will love it too.
Tommy Rocket ‘Land of the dark tee’ $43.95 – This tee is funky and I love the vibrant colour.
And finally, what do you think will make your store stand out from the rest?
A Little Bit of Cheek will stand out because of the funky brands we stock. We will be stocking less brands so we can stock as much of the range as possible. This way our customers will be able to buy everything they need in one place.
